International BBQ
The Summer Multi-Activity Week & International Volunteers BBQ was held last week, hosted by Ron & Mavis Gale.
Ron is Chair of our International Committee and the BBQ was held in Ron’s garden. Fortunately it was a very warm evening and everyone enjoyed the chicken, burgers and sausages cooked by Ken & Peter.
All the international volunteers attended from Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Bulgaria, Germany and France and many of the local volunteers also attended and mixed with staff and Board Members.

Welcome to our International Volunteers
We extend a warm welcome to our international volunteers who are joining us this year for the six weeks Children’s Summer Programme of events
Every year we welcome young volunteers from around the world to help with the Children’s Multi-Activity Weeks and this year they are from Germany, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Mexico and the Czech Republic.
As well as working with the programme, social events are also arranged for them including a BBQ hosted by the Chair of our International Committee
