Multy Activity Weeks

Half Team week

is fast approaching so plan in advance and get your child booked into our exciting Multi-Activity Week from 22nd to 26th October. You can book for just 1 or 2 days or the whole week, with a choice of all day 8.30-6.00pm or 10am-4pm. Games, crafts, outdoor activities and also a full day trip out are included in the price. Children aged 4-11 years are catered for, book now to avoid disappointment.

2007 Annual Business Meeting

This years ABM

took place on Monday 24th September 2007.
The formal business of the meeting was completed including:
• the approval of the previous years minutes
• the adoption of the Annual Report and Accounts
• the election of Trustees
• the re-appointment of the Auditors, Kingston Smith
• the re-appointment of the Vice Presidents
• the re-appointment of Michael Eastman OBE as President
Presentations were given by Staff, volunteers, residents and members on the work of the Association and how it had impacted on their lives.
The ABM was preceded by a buffet prepared and served by members of the catering team.

BODYVIVE COMES TO THE Y.

Starting in October at Romford YMCA is a new class called bodyvive.

BODYVIVE is a 55 minute class which is ideally suited to active adults in their 40s,50s or 60s who seek the motivation and benefits of low-impact group excercise that delivers results.It is the latest group excercise class from the world famous Less Mills group - the people that gave us bodypump.

The class structure integrates:
Aerobic excercise for heart fitness. Resistance training for strength and stability Stretching and mobility work.

This class will be starting on a Sunday 21st October at 10.45a.m and is also ideal for people of any age new to excercise, so come and join our teacher Christine Locke in October.

Do you have a head for heights?

Would you like to abseil 120ft down the Romford YMCA building?

Romford YMCA will be hosting it’s 4th Annual Charity Abseil, in conjunction with Havering East Rotary Club, on Sunday 23rd September
