Romford YMCA provides accommodation for single homeless young people, young people leaving care or prison and young people with support needs, as well as people needing bed and breakfast and people requiring short term accommodation such as local workers or students.

The age range is primarily 18–30 years however short term workers or students outside of this age criteria will be considered.

Romford YMCA has 148 single hostel rooms each with their own sink and wardrobe. Toilets and showers / baths are situated on each floor and are shared. All the accommodation on site is situated over 8 floors with one floor accommodating women only; the rest of the hostel is mixed between male and female.
